Updated Wednesday Morning Forecast & Summary — June 8th, 2016

Default position of lower pressure centered over Quebec will pin-wheel numerous small disturbances and low level moisture ramming up against the Green Mountains – something you see mostly in spring and winter – not to much in June.

This is part and parcel due to high latitude blocking and numerous blocks in the northern hemispheric weather pattern at large.

Unblocking of this weather pattern takes place around June 20th-22nd. Until then it will be a mighty chilly weather pattern frequented by small weather system diving down from northern Canada, while it heats up across the rest of the lower 48 United State.

TODAY: Clouds with a few intervals of sun, but much cooler. Widely scattered light showers or sprinkles near the Green Mountains. A high near 60. Northwest winds 10 to 15 mph. (5)

TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy and chilly. An occasional light shower near the northern Green Mountains. Chilly. A low 40 to 45. Northwest breeze 10 mph. (5)
