· Wet weather did not make it for most of NE VT and North central Vermont yesterday – but it will today with showers likely spreading across much of this region.

· Far northern areas of Vermont may still see driest weather, while adjacent New York will see most prevalent showers and a brief embedded thunderstorm or two with few claps of thunder about all this afternoon and evening.

· First half of Tuesday remains wet but then improves with some great weather and likely the pick of the week Wednesday, but possibly Thursday as well.

· Warmest day most humidity comes Friday where temps could reach the mid and possibly upper 80s.

· A Coronal Mass Ejection or solar flare occurred recently aimed toward earth. There’s an elevated chance for the Aurora Borealis Tuesday, possibly OK viewing Tuesday night (partly cloudy). Most of the time this does not work out but we’ll see what might develop.

· Improving conditions today across our region with increasing amounts of sunshine.

· A dry forecast now into Saturday evening for northern Vermont with Saturday your best bet for the out of doors activities.

· Visitors should make the most of Saturday with lower humidity and still warm enough temperatures will be around for activities like staining your deck mowing your lawn or just having a cold one underneath birches and maples.

· Great weather for antique hunters traveling the yard sales.

· Sunday will not be so nice…rainy and chilly and just yucky ducky day. So plan accordingly across the Green Mountains of Vermont.

· Showery/thundery threat lingers into Tuesday followed by a nice 2 to 3 day stretch of dry weather mid to late next week.

· Fabulous day on tap – warm to hot yet not that humid. These are special and occur when just enough drier air mixes in from Canada despite mini heat dome that develops due to subsidence form the area of higher pressure above us.

· The combination makes for special days of warm but not necessarily stifling humidity. This means it feels a lot cooler in the shade and warmer in the sun.

· Tomorrow back into more humidity with increasing chances for popcorn variety of showers and thunderstorms.

· Southern areas more plagued with shower and thunderstorm chances Friday and then again Sunday and Sunday night while northern areas Friday through Sunday could work out to be bone dry.

· Southern areas have seen far less rainfall this and they could use it Northern excepting parts of the southern Champlain valley Addison county – have seen more almost average rainfall this summer.

Today a transition into more comfortable humidity levels though subtle, more comfortable for sleeping tonight.

As we get into the Weekend the east coast gets more bearable in temperature and not the heat dome, while the west coast is literally on fire.
