Winter Weather Advisory Tonight…

TONIGHT: Overcast. Accumulating wet snow, mixing with a brief period of sleet & freezing rain around midnight producing slick travel. Snow sleet accumulation 1 to locally 5”. Eventually all rain overnight. An evening low around 32, then rising into the mid 30s to about 40. Southeast winds 10 to 20 mph…but much stronger across elevated terrain.

TOMORROW NEW YEARS DAY: Rain showers mixed with wet snow before exiting in the afternoon. An early high near 45. Blustery and turning colder in the afternoon. Northwest winds 10 to 25 mph with higher gusts.

TUESDAY NIGHT: Becoming clear and frigid. A low ranging 5 below to 10 above. Light northwest winds.

WEDNESDAY: Mostly sunny and colder. A high mid teens to low 20s. Light winds.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT: Fair in the evening, then increasing clouds. Scattered flurries late. A low in the teens.

THURSDAY: Mainly cloudy. Chance for light flurries or mountain snow showers with some minor accumulation. A high around 30.

SATURDAY: Overcast and gray. Chance for snow or mixed precipitation. A low in the teens. A high in the low to mid 30s
