Updated Monday morning Forecast & WX Notes — November 28th, 2016

· Enjoy today…because tomorrow morning may end up being a white knuckle commute in the morning as a period of sleet and freezing rain may (sub-freezing ground temps) were likely to impede travel making it extremely icy and slippery especially east of the Green Mountains.

· This will change as ground and air temps gradually rise in the afternoon Tuesday.

· Rain ends as few leftover sprinkles Tuesday night.

· A duplicate storm system to bring another round of rain mid week. Temperatures at that point to be above normal and not sub-freezing with about .50 to .75” of rainfall. We can certainly use it as this will definitely help raise water tables without frozen ground mid week.

· Colder air aloft works in with valley sprinkles and wet snow flakes in the mountains but no real replacement snows in the offing for western New England while Maine could see significant accumulations of snow. Maine resorts could be seeing jackpot snows of foot and half for next weekend.
