Updated Friday morning Forecast & WX notes — November 25th, 2016

· Minutia in precipitation today, tonight, Saturday and lingering into Sunday.

· Roadster’s may encounter patches of black ice today through about 10 AM. More slick travel tomorrow and beyond in the morning primarily.

· Afternoon likely your safest travel – but even here you may encounter issues higher elevations with temperatures not too far from the freezing mark Saturday and Sunday.

· More issues next week as jet streams energy brings not one but two potential Rain events. As we know rain = ice. Lots of the snow currently in the lowers elevations to melt out pretty quickly next week.

· Sorry winter sports enthusiast’s (like myself) it will suck as “REPLACEMENT SNOWS” greater than 2” only highest peaks seen for the next 7 days – Too Warm! My Winter forecast — White Thanksgiving, then oscillation warm cold, warm cold, remains absolutely perfect and I will crow!

TODAY: Clouds, maybe a few breaks of sun late. Watch for black ice through 10 AM this morning. An occasional sprinkle, mixed with wet snow flakes. A high in the upper 30s. South breeze 10 mph.

TONIGHT: A light wintry mix of wet snow and sprinkles likely northern areas. Watch for possible slick travel. A low 30 to 35. Light south winds.

SATURDAY: Lots of clouds. Scattered snow showers or mixed precipitation. Some minor snow accumulation possible higher elevations. A high pushing into the low 40s. Light west to northwest winds.

SATURDAY NIGHT: Isolated mountain flurries. A low upper 20s to around 30.

SUNDAY: Mostly cloudy. Chance for mountain flurries. A high 32 to 35.

MONDAY: Mixed sunshine and clouds. A low in the mid 20s. A high near 32.

TUESDAY: Increasing and thickening clouds. A risk for freezing rain, beginning as little sleet at onset. Treacherous travel possible cold spots. Breezy in the afternoon. A low 10 to 15. A high 35 to 40.
