Updated Morning forecast & summary — May 6th, 2016

Best Weather in New England likely to be across the northern ½ of Vermont into upstate portions of New York, as some drier air has mixed in which has been across and northern of Saint Lawrence Valley for the last couple of days and unable to make a dent further south. Today is the exception – make the most of it.

An upper level low will track gradually northward while losing steam but will interfere with Green Up day activities just a little as patchy drizzle and a few light rain showers/sprinkles rolls through in hit and miss fashion.

A cold front which looks less moist and intense in terms precipitation coverage will deliver a round of showers Mothers Day morning, however hope for holding out a big change toward gradually clearing skies to take place in the mid day to early afternoon and could salvage better but chilly and blustery outdoor weather Sunday afternoon into the evening.
