TONIGHT: Periods of generally light snow but moderate at times across parts of Northeast Kingdom. Accumulations of 2 to locally 6”. A low zero to 10 below. Northwest winds 10 to 20 mph with some blowing and drifting.

TOMORROW: Sub-Zero degree cold with wind chills increasing minus 20 to minus 35. Gray with hints of sun in the afternoon otherwise bitterly cold. Periods of light accumulating snow Barre-Montpelier area north. Additional accumulation dusting to 2” locally more western Green Mountain slopes. A high zero to 5 below. West to northwest winds 10 to 25 mph with higher gusts.

FRIDAY NIGHT: Periods of very light snow. A dusting to an inch Barre-Montpelier area north. A low 10 to 20 below combines with west to northwest winds 10 to 25 mph…producing dangerous wind chills of minus 25 to minus 40.

SATURDAY: Very frigid. Occasional light flurries gives way to partial afternoon sun. Bitterly cold! Temperatures peaking 5 to 10 below. Dangerous wind chills minus 25 to minus 40 in the morning.

SATURDAY NIGHT: Partly cloudy. Diamond dust flurries. Possibly the coldest morning temperatures. A low 15 to 25 below.

SUNDAY: Morning sun then high cloudiness. Temperatures A high around 10 above.

MONDAY: Overcast. Periods of light accumulating snow. A couple inches possible. Not so cold! A gradual rise in temperature reaching to near 30.

TUESDAY: Periods of light snow in the morning, exiting to flurries in the afternoon. A low in the 20s. A high upper 20s to low 30s.
