TONIGHT: A wintry mix changing to periods of freezing rain. Hazardous travel developing later overnight. Temperatures rising into the mid to upper 20s. Light southeast winds.
TOMORROW: Cloudy. Freezing rain in the morning hours…eventually changing to lighter rain. However — stubborn pockets of freezing rain into the afternoon Windsor/Windham county. Expect Treacherous travel due to glazing of a tenth to ¼ inch. Worst southern areas east of the Greens. Rain to change back to “accumulating snow” northern areas late in the afternoon. Temperatures slowly rising to around 32 to 35. Light southeast winds.
SATURDAY NIGHT: Period of additional snowfall 2 to locally 5 inches through mid to late evening before exiting to partial clearing. A low 20 to 25. West to northwesterly winds 10 to 20 mph.
SUNDAY Christmas Eve Day: “BEST TRAVEL DAY” Clouds mixed with intervals of sunshine. A high 25 to 30. Northwest winds 10 to 15 mph diminishing.
