· Snow coated roads this morning with the current weak weather system will deliver about an inch possibly 2” to valley floors by the end of today.
· Most of the snow falls during the morning then tapers to scattered flurries this afternoon excepting far northern Vermont where it will continue to fall most steadily.
· Temp’s make it to near freezing later this AM…likely making for best travel then and this afternoon.
· By Friday morning…looking at the best conditions as we dry out and max temps hit the mid 30s…suggesting some minor melt back valleys.
· Another weaker system arrives Saturday perhaps an inch or less…
· Sunday Christmas Day – probably just an inch of the ground many valleys to qualify as a white Christmas but very close call.
· Nasty freezing rain to rain travel hazard last half of Monday into Monday night – heads up.
TODAY: Gray. Periods of light snow. Accumulations of 1 to 2 “ valley floors, up to locally 4” Green Mountains ski resorts. A high near 32. South winds 10 to 15 mph.
TONIGHT: Scattered leftover northern mountain snow showers and valley flurries with minor additional accumulation…exiting to partial clearing. A low in the lower 20s. Light west winds.
FRIDAY: More sunshine than clouds especially away from the northern mountains. A high in the mid 30s. West breeze 10 to 20 mph.

FRIDAY NIGHT: Mostly clear or just scattered clouds. A low in the upper teens to low 20s.
SATURDAY: Morning sun then clouding up. Chance for a period of light snow or snow showers. Some minimal accumulation.. A high mid to upper 30s.
