Updated Wednesday morning forecast & WX notes — November 2nd, 2016

· Breaks or intervals of sunshine will uptick our local temperatures and make for highs approaching 60 otherwise 55 to 60 for most of the region today.

· Lighter rain showers will advance across Vermont before a more potent weather system provides us with a pretty decent soaker all day Thursday.

· Thursday night transitions to wet snow showers but this looks less worrisome for valley floors seeing much if any accumulations. Still, you know the drill, higher terrain could see a smidge maybe up to an inch at the summits.

· Yucky blasé weather but with frequent shots of light precipitation over the next ten days most of this without much threat for driving in freezing/frozen precip going into mid November.

· 382nd consecutive month above normal for planet earth – vote accordingly or celebrate a planetary death wish – it’s out of my hands I can only report…
