· First day of Fall to yield cooler more seasonal temperatures mainly in the 60s today but some cooler upper 50s northern areas.

· Temperatures tomorrow remain cool and in fact temperatures in the 50s and 60s will rule the roost for about the next week or so.

· Rain showers to gradually exit out our region later this afternoon, while our next opportunity for more rainfall not until Monday night-Tuesday.

· Gardeners should be keeping a close eye on some frost possibilities in the colder Northeastern Vermont valleys for Sunday night/Monday morning and possibly Monday night as well.

TODAY: Cloudy with occasional showers, exiting out this afternoon to a few breaks of sun late. Cooler. A high 60 to 65. North to northwest breeze 10 to 15 mph. (5)

TONIGHT: Clearing skies with patchy valley fog. A low dropping into the 40s. Little wind. (5)

SATURDAY: Considerable amounts of sunshine. Becoming breezy and cooler. A high 55 to 60. Northwest breeze 10 to 20 mph. (5)
