Updated Monday Morning Forecast and WX notes — September 19th, 2016

· This week’s take always include an extension of summer and the same summer dryness.

· Temperatures will be well above seasonal normal’s as those temperatures are now in the 60s and dropping.

· This week’s most inclement weather will be the rest of this morning and again possibly on Friday with a cold frontal system sagging south to end the work week.

· We could really use more rain of course…putting barely a dent in the absence of rainfall but we are appreciative we got what we got this weekend.

· Those of you looking for more Fall-like weather i.e. cooler temps well we might see a pretty good drop-off starting Sunday the 26th and beyond.

TODAY: Considerable cloudiness. Lingering showers this morning, exiting to increasing sunshine later this afternoon. Above normal temperatures with a high ranging through the 70s. Light southwest winds.

TONIGHT: Scattered clouds and partially moonlit. Patchy valley fog. More comfortable. A low 55 to 60. Light south winds.

TUESDAY: Partly to mostly sunny. Maybe an isolated sprinkle or two in the afternoon far northern areas. A high in the upper 70s to lower 80s. Southwest breeze 10 mph.

TUESDAY NIGHT: Mostly clear. Considerable valley fog. A low in the mid 50s

WEDNESDAY: Pick of the week. Morning clouds and fog, give way to bright sunshine and blue skies. A high around 75.

THURSDAY: Morning sunshine after fog burns off then increasing high cloudiness northern areas. A low around 55. A high in the upper 70s to around 80.

FRIDAY: Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms possible. More muggy. A low 60 to 65. A high in the upper 60s to low 70s.

Average lows in the mid 40s. Normal high in the mid to upper 60s
