· One of the more humid and steamy stretches for later today and tonight’s are just ahead over the next 36 hours before refreshingly cooler less humid air moves in a northwesterly breeze Friday afternoon.

· The cool front will deliver scattered showers and thunderstorms after 3 or 4 PM lasting into a portion of this evening. Please practice lightning safety.

· A brief bubble of high pressure will bring nice weather much of Saturday until yet another frontal system moves in Saturday night and lingers into early Sunday. Then it’s a repeat with cooler less humid air Sunday afternoon and night

· A very brief shot of autumn like weather will be with us for Monday with mid 40s in some places Monday morning.

· Temperatures once again warm up and its gets humid toward middle part of next week, followed by drier conditions again.

TODAY: Partly sunny then more clouds later this afternoon. Warm and muggy. Widely scattered late afternoon showers and a few thunderstorms. A high in the middle 80s. Southeast breeze 10 mph. (5)

TONIGHT: Mainly cloudy. Scattered showers and possible thunderstorms. Rather sultry with a low in the upper 60s. Light west winds. (5)

FRIDAY: Chance for a leftover mountain sprinkle, then increasing amounts of sunshine. Becoming breezy and much less humid. A high near 80. Northwest breeze 10 mph. (5)
